My very long hair must be worn in high bun so I can’t wear caps, I live in visors. This is another comfy, fun one added to my collection! No Velcro that pulls my hair.
I have to give this product and company high marks. I was going on a surf trip where we were expecting some very serious overhead surf so the idea is to carry the swim bubble as an emergency back up in the event of losing the surfboard to a broken leash.
The bubble it’s self was small enough to go in a pt in my rash guard while still being clipped to the waist belt. It felt very reassuring to have it with me. Also- the personal did a great job getting me the product quickly and were in touch the whole time as it was a rush order! Thanks guys!
This is my 5th 15 liter buoy, having gone through all colors, I ordered my second hot pink buoy. Love the color, love how easy it is to spot in the distance…and did I mention the speed with which the order was processed and delivered? Outstanding!!!!!

This is the first swim buoy I've owned, and I highly recommend it. I got it just in time for a 1.8 mile lake swim. After practicing with it for just a few minutes, I felt ready to use it in the race. Most of the time, I forgot it was there. It doesn't interfere with my kick on any stroke, either. If I ever needed to, I could swing one leg over the strap, semi-sit, and hug the buoy for a rest. That and the extra visibility are reassuring. One of the race lifeguards in the kayaks thanked me for using the buoy, as it helped them keep track of me.
My wife loves it because I can be seen by lifeguards and such.
This swim buoy is the second one I have purchased. It gives me confidence to cross the lake in case I get a leg cramp. The 1st one has held up but faded after 3 years sitting on my dock.( Convenient but not smart.) Boats said they could not see me. Thus this purchase. My grand kids are now on swim team. It's a family tradition to swim the lake. I will most likely get more. It is so light weight you don't know it's there and helps when clearing googles to hang on to it. I have not tried cheaper made ones but you get what you pay for. This one lasts.
She hasn’t used it yet (just opened it) but it’s exactly what she wanted. The package came in a timely manner, much faster than other companies I’ve ordered online from. I have a big, wide forehead. This swim cap fits me without hiking up during my 40 minute swim session. I have a bright pink and bright yellow. I plan to use the bright yellow for ocean swimming. This is my favorite silicone cap.
Bought my original swim buoy in 2017. Sadly it recently came apart at the seams. Contacted the company to let them know and they instantly replaced it. Absolutely can not fault them.
The buoys them selves are excellent. Clearly visible in the water to other users and they don't get in your way when swimming.
I like the larger buoy. TPU seems like it will be very durable. Bright orange color seems like it will be more visible than my current smaller yellow buoy. What was really nice beyond the good product and prompt delivery is the fact that you included a waterproof phone bag, excellent silicone swim cap and a few other goodies. What a great surprise! I would recommend New Wave to any of my swim buddies.
At first I thought this cap would be too big. My head is on the smaller side and compared to other silicone caps I own this was larger. I decided to try it out in the pool and was pleasantly surprised. After swimming I noticed the inside of the cap was a little more grippy. So hopefully it will stay on for lots more swims!
I love this buoy. The color (neon orange) , size, construction, straps, fit...all are amazing. Even more amazing..the company gladly replaced mine because of a minor issue I had (most likely not the fault of the product)!!
These are the best caps! They're the only ones that stay on so I'm not tugging away throughout my swim.
I swim in the SF Bay at a small beach throughout the year. Because the small group I swim with keeps in the shallow water and swims parallel to the shore, I thought a buoy wasn't warranted (we just stand up). But there are so many novice windsurfers and paddle boarders who aren't aware of us, that the buoy makes me more visible and feel safer. And now I also have an incentive to swim farther! It's easy to use, well made, and effective.
The buoys came much faster than I expected, and with a complimentary yellow cap (yay! more visible!) and little yellow buoy for my waterproof bag, which keeps my car key dry. I was delighted!

Great to swim with no worry of straying into deep water. I can always stop and have a little rest, if needed.

Our family has used New wave buoys for many years. They have been great for being easily spotted by boaters in our lake where we regularly do distance swims. Buoys are light, strong and do not interfere with our swimming while providing a rest support should we ever tire route. Great products and a company that stands behind them post-purchase.
The buy, goggles and cap are all good.
Love the color of my fluo green bubble, but most of all that is robust enough to support me, should I need to use it to help me float. Now I can swim distance and choppy waves, without fearing I might not have the energy to make it back to shore! Also, it is easily repositioned so that I can use a variety of strokes, not just the crawl.

One of the best and most useful items I've ever purchased. As an open water swimmer in the Gulf of Mexico it takes a pounding but lasts a long time. Makes me more visible to lifeguards and boaters. Easily holds my weight when needed and I was glad to read on the package that the color may be a deterrent to sharks something people are constantly asking me about. Good price free shipping and you are always throwing in a swim cap and pouch.
